Discovering the Beauty of Venice with our October 2024 Photography Course
Last October, we embarked on a mesmerizing photography journey in Venice, one of the most photogenic cities in the world. Our four-day course was a perfect blend of learning, exploration, and capturing the enchanting beauty of Venice. Here’s a glimpse of our unforgettable experience.
Day 1: Arrival and Orientation
From the moment we arrived in Venice, the city’s charm captivated us. We began our adventure with a scenic launch ride to San Marco, where we checked into our comfortable hotel near St Mark’s Square. The evening kicked off with a photography session in St Marks Square, capturing the beauty of Venice under the setting sun.
Day 2: Classic Venice
The second day was all about exploring the hidden gems of Venice. From its winding canals and iconic bridges to bustling markets, our participants captured the essence of the city’s vibrant atmosphere. The highlight was a visit to Burano, renowned for its colorful houses and intricate lace-making. The vibrant colors and unique charm of Burano provided endless photography opportunities.
Day 3: Hidden Venice
Our focus shifted to the architectural marvels and artistic heritage of Venice. Participants photographed the magnificent Rialto, the grandeur of the Basilica of San Marco, and the stunning Santa Maria della Salute. Each location offered a unique perspective and an opportunity to refine photography skills.
Day 4: Reflection and Farewell
The final day was a relaxed exploration of Venice at our own pace. Participants revisited their favorite spots, capturing last-minute shots before our final meetup. We reflected on our journey, shared our best photos, and bid farewell to Venice with a heart full of memories and a camera full of stunning images.
