📸 Running a Photography Course at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

🏁 About the Event

Goodwood is well known for its blend of historic and modern vehicles, from vintage Formula One cars to cutting-edge supercars. The backdrop of Goodwood House and its surrounding estate adds a unique setting for photography.

The festival offered plenty of opportunities for dynamic shots—cars tearing up the Hillclimb, detailed paddock scenes, and crowds of passionate fans. For anyone interested in motorsport photography, it’s one of the best places to practice.

🎓 Sharing the Craft

My goal for the course was simple: to help people turn their curiosity into confidence. Through hands-on sessions, I covered techniques for capturing motion, mastering composition, and bringing emotion to life in a still image. From experimenting with panning blur to framing high-speed drama, we focused on how to make each shot tell a story. Here are some of my shots form the event.
