Vegas and the National Parks 2020

Here we go on our latest trip to the USA. Accompanied by Julie, Nicky, Damian, Mick, Tracey and Pam. First night in Vegas staying at the Flamingo Hotel then out the the famous Vegas sign first thing for the group photo shot. We are then heading North East to Kingman before heading East to Williams along Route 66. More photos to follow.

Dungeness

Just got back from a 3 day visit to East Sussex to photograph around Rye and Dungeness. Great remote landscapes with big skys. We stayed at the Playden Oast House near Rye and travelled out to Dungeness. Due to the time of year the place is virtually deserted. Well worth a trip to photograph the old wrecks and containers laid up on the beach. Here are a few pics from the day – All have been run through Lightroom and Photoshop.

Coat of Glass.

My first effort.

Had a great day out in London learning how to make stained glass windows. Travelled out to a farm complex on the Isle of Dogs to the Coat of Glass studios. In a day you can learn the techniques for glass cutting, grinding the glass edges then fit into the lead and finish off to make a complete stained glass window. There were a great range of designs to choose from and Stephen is on hand to help if things go pear shaped. Here is their web site: https://www.coatofglass.london/
