Had a few days away in Dublin at the end of January. An easy place to get too as its within the UK common travel area so no need for any tests as we are fully vaccinated. We just needed to complete a point of entry form and way we went. Flight from Heathrow takes around an hour flight time and there is a Dublin Express coach service which takes you right into the centre of Dublin. We stayed at the Zanzibar Locke hotel on the river which is highly recommended. Highlights of the trip included the Guinness Factory Tour, the Bank or Ireland bar, Dublin Castle and exploring the area around Temple Bar which was just across the river from the hotel.
